Lindsay grew up in the Durham Region in a very active family and was involved in many sports from a young age. Her strong athletic background, combined with a keen interest in the human body and how it moves, led her to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. She became especially interested in physiotherapy after witnessing a relative undergo intensive rehab for a spinal cord injury. She realized the significant impact a physiotherapist could have on an individual’s physical function and overall wellbeing, and she aspired to help others in the same way. She went on to complete her Master’s degree of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2012.
